  With current budget problems and a lack of teachers facing the nation's schools, the class size issue has once again come to the forefront. Dr. Nagel has observed hundreds of schools and published papers in national education journals on this topic.

  Dr. Nagel is an advocate of bringing democracy back into the classroom and empowering creative teachers. This is in direct opposition to the current system which requires teachers to be dictators and robots, spending all their time getting kids to pass tests at all costs.
